Hackers don’t get hacked!

This is serious. Just randomly out of the blue. My WordPress blog got hijacked and hackers got the whole of my blog to themselves. How selfish! Honestly, I never expected this to happen but it did! You may not know this but these days, there are hackers out there attacking blogs that are specifically powered by WordPress. They would try to guess your admin login details.

It’s amazing how far these people would go just to inject ads all over other people’s work. YES, that happened to me. I was seriously shocked when I was visiting my blog from my mobile phone and saw this huge advertisement covering the whole screen space on my phone and my blog literally got kicked out of the way. But you know what I did? I contacted my hosting company and demanded them to only allow FTP and my WordPress admin access to only my IP address. Of course that did took awhile and I had to figure out all the guess-work on removing all those injected ads on my hosting server. Trust me, it’s nerve wrecking.

So for those of you who owns a WordPress blog and don’t want this to happen to you, prevent it. Go and setup a password protected directory for your WordPress admin login. Conclusion: Prevention is better than curing.

Oh and guess what, I’ve been going to programming school to further my knowledge into web design and web programming. So, you can technically call me a ‘hacker’ now. NOT the types of hackers that hack into people’s work :-P

WARNING: It’s ADDICTIVE!

I will say this once and for all. SAFELIST Marketing is ADDICTIVE. I have been promoting and advertising on various safelists for quite a long time and I have recently advertised quite a handful by promoting multiple splash pages at one time. And I have to say, the results are incredible!

I have compiled a few tips and tricks that I use for my campaigns. Here are just a few…

  1. Email Title - The K.I.S.S Method. Period.
    No one will ever tell you how stupid simple this method is! Keep your email title as short and simple. That’s it! Keep It Simple, Stupid.
  2. Email Body - Give a few points.
    I’ve seen so many safelist ads in my email inbox and I JUST HATE those ads where they place all the damn information in one single email. NOBODY is gonna read the whole thing! Again, just share a few points on what you are promoting, why they should join you and also be completely mindful that you are promoting your OWN BRAND.Establish a personally level with the reader, so they would begin to trust you.
  3. Don’t forget your SIGNATURE! - YOUR NAME!
    People who opened up your safelist ad would want to know who it’s from. Simply put your full name and a simple “GOD Bless you,” before that would make them think of you.Take advantage of this anywhere possible. Some safelists allows members to embed images into your email body, by all means, ADD YOUR PHOTO!

Stay FOCUSED!

I really cannot emphasize any further on this. If you have a goal and you want to make ends meet, you have to stay focused. I know this may seem funny to tell you this but I stay focused in the evening, through the midnight. I know it’s not good for your health to stay up so late at night, but that’s just how I get my work done! (at least I have my supply of coffee to keep me awake)

Remember when I told you about breaking your tasks into smaller tasks so that it is easier for you to manage your time to work around it? That is important but without your FOCUS, you are never getting your work done.

TIP: Never rush yourself. Doing things quick isn’t one of the ways to get things done faster. It’s also not what we teach here, and on ClickTrackProfit.

“Slow and steady wins the race”

Except, there’s no race. I watched a movie not too long ago and I can recall the words of a wise one saying this: “Make your passion a profession.”

Don’t know if you have heard this before but that phrase makes complete sense! What do you love? Make that your full-time profession! If you don’t love the things you do, you won’t be appreciative. Do things that interests you, that makes you happy, makes you smile from ear to ear.

That’s the power of being yourself! No one can tell you what to do. You just do what you love! It’s simple as that! I’m blown away by these simple facts that can become reality success.
